INTERWOVEN

The Evanisko Project is an innovative collaboration between the Department of Graphic Design and the Penn State University Libraries designed to establish a program for highlighting student work in the libraries and to increase the visibility of the libraries as an exhibit center for thought provoking, vibrant student works.

Interwoven was created to show you how graphic designers’ ideas interweave with our environment, often inspired by the people we meet and get to talk to, or the activities in our daily lives. To us, we see human connection as the foundation of graphic design. Designing for people because of people, to communicate messages to people.

Our interactive exhibition is playful, organic, humanistic, and showcases connection while displaying previous Evanisko Projects. Our tone of voice reflects an unspoken connection between people of varying backgrounds in a playful and casual manner. By pairing unique slogans with eye catching designs, the Interwoven exhibition creates a space that people want to enter and feel welcomed.

From our color palette to our type face to our logo, all our visual elements were created to represent connection and highlight the playful spirit of our mission.
