Problem
The Heather’s movie producers want to partner with a
couture fashion magazine to promote their movie and
the characters clothes.
Solution
A high-fashion magazine that combines the vibrant,
eclectic energy of the 1980s with the nostalgic,
personal touch of a yearbook.
More Info
In a daring twist on the cult classic Heathers, the Heathers come back to life and are out for revenge against Veronica Sawyer. Posing in high-fashion couture, they take over the halls and yearbook of Westerburg High.
This high-fashion magazine is conceptualized as a
high school yearbook and reimagines the ending of
the movie Heathers. Through photography, set design, clothing design, lighting, typography, and layout, Resurrected not only promotes the clothes, but narrates the shifts of power dynamics, presenting
the Heathers as even more dangerous and stylish, blending dark humor with a fashion forward edge.
Process
The process began with ideation and once the concept was set, I focused on creative direction, carefully selecting the right models, curating outfits, scouting shooting locations, ensuring everything contributed to the overall aesthetic.
